Project Goal: To create a visually interesting cookbook-style booklet, highlighting regionally-specific dishes, for Southeastern Louisiana University.
Thought Process: The client requested a Louisiana theme throughout, really highlighting the state and it's local dishes. When I found the vector image that was used on the cover, I knew I wanted to incorporate the graphics within it throughout the book, as well as lean into it's color scheme, green, orange, yellow and pink. I also used food imagery specific to the recipes included in the cookbook.
Specific Role: I was the lead designer for this project as a part of a larger team with a proposal writer, proofreader and salesperson.
Final Outcome: The document was printed, saddle stitched, as well as distributed digitally to the client.
